Description:
Maintenance Mechanic ensuring that all machinery and equipment run efficiently and effectively. Executes preventive maintenance programs, identifies spare parts needs and repairs machinery, equipment, tools, and facilities. Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with limited impact within the area. Work consists of tasks that are typically routine. Works independently under limited supervision. Responsible for assisting and training lower level support employees. May be responsible for entire projects or processes within area.

Experience:
Requires basic knowledge of area procedures typically obtained through specific education and training. High school diploma preferred and 0-2 years relevant work experience.
Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures Must be able to weld and use cutting torch safely. Works with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment. Performs building maintenance when necessary. Identifies problems with equipment by observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds. Dismantles equipment to find defects and assembles it back correctly. Detects texture change, quality problems and imperfections on production parts when assisting the operators.
Makes changes to processes when necessary for better efficiency. Records downtime of equipment and suggests process improvements. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment. Makes suggestions for continuous improvements to equipment, building and processes. Assists machine operators in solving equipment problems. Assists the maintenance leader whenever necessary. Regular and punctual attendance, consistently adhere to the assigned work schedule. Comply with all GMP requirements and adhere to all CFS safety policies and procedures.
