- Responsible for the accuracy of cutting and completeness of orders
- Responsible for set-ups, paper stock, and the loading and feeding of paper
- Performs in process quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Inspects printed paper to ensure quality standards are met (blank sheets, rips on paper, ink marks, and wrinkles)
- Follows job ticket for specific cutting instructions
- Performs weekly and monthly preventative maintenance as needed on cutters
- Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition and that over-runs, and/or waste, are delivered to the appropriate repository
- Stacks paper on pallets and stages on production area for folding
- Maintains cutting log for counts
- Follows GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and completes all related paperwork
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment-striving to meet and exceed quality and safety goals
- Performs other job duties as assigned
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
- 3-5 years experience in production cutting - Saber Cutters
- Strong mathematical skills - which includes the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Attention to detail a IS REQUIRED
- Good organizational skills
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Knowledge of proper use of rulers and calipers
- Must be able to maintain good attendance
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job
- Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all departments
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
- Ability to work well under stressful and time-sensitive situations
- Bending and reaching during your shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- This job is physically demanding and requires the job holder to be on their feet 8+hours per shift, walking/moving/lifting throughout long periods of time
