Summary

The Packaging Coordinator ensures accurate, compliant, and on‑brand materials from initial planning through final production. This role supports the Packaging Manager to coordinate projects with internal teams and external vendors, keeping timelines on track and maintaining organized digital assets. The position stays current on industry standards and compliance requirements to ensure smooth, error‑free execution across all packaging initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with packaging vendors to gather all required packaging specifications, printing details, and production limits.
  • Develop and oversee packaging project documentation for marketing partners at project launch, ensuring all limitations are clearly defined, timelines and due dates are established, and any date changes are communicated centrally to avoid delays.
  • Review all packaging graphics for accuracy and compliance and prepare final files for submission to printers.
  • Coordinate with print engravers and corrugators to facilitate plate creation and ensure on-time delivery for carton production.
  • Follow established creative direction to ensure cohesive corporate branding and consistent messaging across all materials.
  • Organize, maintain, and manage all digital assets related to packaging and creative projects.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of POS and packaging graphic design, including the use of die lines.
  • Effectively manage tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities as business needs evolve.
  • Proofread and prepare all packaging files prior to submission to external vendors.
  • Maintain knowledge of all company trademarks and ensure proper usage by marketing partners where required.
  • Learn and understand all retailer packaging requirements and translate this to marketing partners to avoid packaging delays and inaccuracies.
  • Maintain awareness of country-specific packaging compliance regulations and communicate requirements to marketing partners to support international shipments.
  • Maintain and archive OBS packaging files as needed.
  • Ensure all current packaging files are up to date and properly stored within Widen and internal network.
  • Create, submit, and complete all purchase orders related to packaging projects.
  • Support timely flow and completion of all packaging requests.
  • Collaborate with functional areas of the company to provide accurate packaging specifications to external marketing partners.
  • Audit label and QR code requirements for packaging projects.
  • Conduct on-site vendor visits as needed.
  • Address and mitigate QA/QC packaging rejects.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to support departmental and organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, or a related field required.
  • 3-5 years of marketing, design, or project management experience.
  • Graphics and Print Process knowledge required.
  • Expert in prepress setup, dielines, bleeds, color management, and vendor-ready file delivery with a strong focus on precision and efficiency.
  • Prior experience in preparing accurate, print-ready files for packaging and marketing materials.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with exceptional organizational abilities.
The Anticipated Pay Range for This Position

$65K-75K annually.
