Summary

The Quality Assurance Auditor prepares sales sample orders for shipment, conducts quality audits, and oversees the UPS replacement parts order fulfillment department. Quality audits will have three origins:
Purchased finished goods, scheduled Suncast manufactured finished goods, special quality problem audits. In addition, this employee will assist with product quality inspection as needed.

Audit production according an established schedule. Use approved sampling plans and sample selection techniques. Report audit findings.

Perform non‑scheduled audits when prompted by quality concerns. This may be due to shop floor findings, customer complaints, or findings from sales sample preparation. In most cases these will be for finished products.

Oversee production repackaging. This may fall into three groups:
Rework due to previously found quality defects, repack due to packaging changes, or conversions.

Assist with quality inspection efforts in the manufacturing facility. This may include assisting with weekend rotation to ensure inspection coverage as needed.
