Overview
Join us as a Dietary Aide, Full‑Time at Covenant Living of Colorado. The role involves preparing and delivering healthy meals and ensuring patients receive appropriate nutrition based on their needs. The Dietary Aide works closely with Dietitians, providing details on allergies or restrictions to create plans accordingly.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service under the guidance of the Chef or Dietitian.
- Deliver dishes, trays, and designated times and rooms.
- Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order, including dish, tray, trash, and leftover removals.
- Follow all sanitation guidelines, federal/state regulations, and Senior Living/Healthcare requirements, maintaining cleanliness of prep items.
- Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled or needed.
- Provide customer service and hospitality during nutrition delivery.
Required Degree
:
High school diploma
Required Certifications
:
- Current Food Handler’s Permit required.
- Training in Serv Safe beneficial.
Desired Experience
:
One year of food service experience, including serving/waiting tables, cleaning, kitchen sanitation protocols, basic food/meal prep preferred.

- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, preparation, and serving principles.
- Work with all people, get along and socialize with employees, residents, families, visitors, vendors, health‑care professionals, and community.
- May be required to lift or carry equipment or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent stooping, bending, climbing, reaching, pulling/pushing, extended periods walking and/or standing.
- May be required to stand, sit, twist, bend, squat, kneel or crouch when performing duties.
- Must possess adequate sight and hearing.
$16.06 - $19.27 per hour
