The part-time Mahjong Instructor is responsible for teaching participants the fundamentals, concepts, and official rules of Mahjong in a clear, engaging, and structured format. The instructor will create a welcoming learning environment for beginners and/or intermediate players while promoting social interaction, skill development, and enjoyment of the game.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:Mahjong instruction takes place in a community center or recreation facility setting. Time is spent standing, sitting, and light lifting (tables, chairs, game materials). Occasionally lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 25 pounds. Evening and/or daytime weekday hours depending on program schedule.
This part time position hours may vary based on the Mahjong program schedule. Shift schedule may be in one (1) hour increments, and up to four (4) hours, evening and/or daytime weekday hours depending on program schedule.
Hourly Pay$20/hour
This is a non-exempt, part-time position. This position is not benefits eligible.
