Responsibilities

• Monitoring vessel & cargo planning activities prior to the vessel arriving to port, including the sequence of loading and discharging cargo and placement of cargo in the yard.
• Collaborating with the husbandry agent to provide day‑to‑day solutions and propose workflow improvements that enhance productivity and efficiency of port operations.
• Performing daily planning of resource allocation (berths, yard, and stowage planning).
• Ensuring the loading and discharging activities are performed accurately and timely.
• Delivering relevant data on cargo and vessel operations to terminal operators and authorities and reviewing required documents promptly.
• Co‑ordinating closely with the terminal, local port authority, and husbandry agent to ensure vessel and cargo traffic is handled properly and on time.
• Co‑ordinating with the Jakarta office, ARO/HO, and next port agency to ensure all activities are handled properly and on time.
• Acting as the focal point for any issues that may arise with the assigned vessel.
• Overseeing cargo handling operations, including:
• Control that inbound and T/S dangerous cargo data is transmitted to local port authorities according to regulations.
• Supervising that the vessel receives a complete dangerous cargo, reefer, OOG, and break‑bulk manifest prior to the start of cargo operations.
• Monitoring port stay and ensuring vessels sail after completion of cargo operations.
• Participating fully in training sessions, meetings, skill‑building, and professional development classes.

• Experience as a Logistics Staff in a port or maritime environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to give notice to current employer within a reasonable period.
