HVAC Electric Supervisor

About the role

As an HVAC Electric Supervisor at PT Marcopolo Shipyard, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical installation and maintenance of the company's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This full-time position is located in Batam Kota, Riau Islands, and is an integral part of the Electrical/Electronic Engineering team.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of the HVAC electrical installation and maintenance team
• Ensure all HVAC electrical systems are installed, maintained, and operated efficiently and safely
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues or malfunctions in the HVAC systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC electrical components
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to optimize HVAC system performance
• Provide technical guidance and training to the HVAC electrical team
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all HVAC electrical work
• Organize material and work equipment needs
• Organize and supervise pre-commissioning, flushing, etc.
• Prepare QC documents and test report
• Record technical obstacles and make a report

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC electrical supervision or a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC electrical system design, installation, and maintenance
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Able to operate Ms. Office & Excel
• Familiarity with relevant electrical and safety regulations
• Able to use HVAC measuring and inspection tools
• Good speaking and writing skills in English
