Senior Sales Engineer - Hydraulic & Filtration (Marine & Logistic)

Client Details: Multinational Hydraulic & Filtration company

• Drive sales activities through a consultative approach to understand and address customer needs.
• Promote and sell engineered system solutions to customers in the mining sector and other industrial markets, both existing and prospective accounts.
• Lead the entire sales process including opportunity identification, pipeline development, proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract closure to achieve profitable business outcomes.
• Proactively develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships within the current customer portfolio.
• Address customer concerns and coordinate complaint resolution to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Area Sales Manager and collaborate with Project, Service, and Logistics teams within the region.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations teams at Head Office to ensure smooth project execution and solution delivery.
• Assist in monitoring and following up on customer payments to maintain healthy accounts receivable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 3 years of sales experience in the industrial or engineering sector, preferably related to mining.
• Demonstrated track record in sales performance; experience in project-based sales is an advantage.
• Established network and experience in the Mining and industrial sectors within Sulawesi area is preferred.
• Solid understanding of industry dynamics, customer requirements, distribution channels, and business financial aspects.
• Knowledge of filtration and hydraulic products is highly desirable.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently.
• Willing to travel frequently to project sites and adapt to mining site schedules.
• Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and corporate business conduct guidelines.
• Willing to be placed in Batam or Surabaya.
