About the role

As the Finance Manager at PT Batu Ampar Container Terminal, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of this leading container terminal in Batam, Riau Islands. This full-time position will see you manage the company's financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the business operates efficiently and compliantly.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and budget monitoring
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Manage the financial control framework, including internal audits and risk assessments
• Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in the transportation, logistics or port operations industry
• Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a finance team
• Proficient in the use of financial software and systems, such as ERP and accounting packages
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable
