We are seeking an experienced Engine Fitter to join our dynamic team at DMD MARINE ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. in Batam Kota Riau Islands, Indonesia. As an Engine Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing marine engines, ensuring the smooth operation of our vessels. • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot marine engines to identify and resolve any issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and overhaul on a variety of marine engines.
• Liaise with the engineering team to coordinate repair and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain detailed records of all repair and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Willing to work overtime if necessary and requested by engineers.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Engine Fitter in the marine industry.
• Strong knowledge of marine engine systems, including diesel and petrol engines.
• Proficient in using a range of tools and equipment for engine repair and maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in marine engineering or a relevant trade qualification.
