Tutor Mandarin

Located in Batam, we empower students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel academically and beyond. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Batam for a Mandarin Tutor. The Tutor will be responsible for teaching Mandarin to students of various age groups and proficiency levels. Key responsibilities include creating lesson plans, delivering engaging and effective lessons, monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and tailoring approaches to accommodate individual learning needs. Additionally, the Tutor will foster a supportive environment to encourage language proficiency and cultural appreciation among students.

• Proficiency in Mandarin, including speaking, writing, and comprehension, and the ability to teach these skills effectively.
• Experience in developing educational lesson plans, instructional strategies, and customizing teaching methods to suit individual learners.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• A passion for teaching and inspiring students to learn and appreciate the Mandarin language and culture.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Chinese Language Studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in Mandarin is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with international curricula and teaching methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adaptively in a diverse educational setting.
