Detailer​/Draftsperson

Overview

Working on Projects with English-speaking Managers and Supervisors. The applicant must have exceptional written and verbal English skills. The applicant must have experience in Drafting and Detailing in the Construction industry.

• Creating and Modifying Workshop drawings level to detail level ready for Fabrication.
• Generating Workshop drawings Documentation including producing detailed 2D & 3D drawings, including and not limited to floor plans, elevations, sections, and installation details.
• Managing Drafting Changes, implementing design & manufacturing modifications and updates to Documentation throughout the project lifecycle including shared platforms.
• Compile Documentation from/to Revit & Autocad as required for coordination with consultants, manufacturers & stakeholders.
• Collaborating with Teams, working closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and coordinate design information.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure drawings are accurate and manufacturing ready.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and drawing registers.
• Prepare and maintain a CAD library contents of standard details, templates, and Standards to be integrated with required future development.
• Collaborate with project managers, factory and construction professionals to ensure that designs are achievable and feasible within project timelines and budgets.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in drafting and design.

• Exceptional written and verbal English skills (required).
• Relevant degree in Architecture/Engineering/Drafting Technology or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM drafting technology including software on Autodesk platform including (AutoCAD, Inventor, Optimiser, ReCap, etc.) BIM & Revit proficiency is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD for Hi-Detail Levels.
• Excellent understanding of design to manufacturing principles and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering and construction drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong technical drawing skills, with the ability to create accurate, detailed, and precise drawings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously.
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to find solutions to design challenges.
• Familiarity with other 3D modelling software and visualization tools is a plus.
