Operational Manager Shipping

This is a contract-based, on-site role located in Batam for a Commercial Officer. The role involves managing Business Development and executing commercial activities, building and maintaining customer relationships, executing sales initiatives, and providing exceptional customer service. The Commercial Officer will also be looking and finding a new project every time and ensuring customer satisfaction in alignment with company objectives.

• Proven skills in Business Development operations and Commercial Sales, including an understanding of shipping market trends and strategies
• Experienced in Technical Engineering and Shipyard Company
• Understand End to End Process of Shipping Activities
• Team Leader and Management experienced
• Strong Communication and Customer Service abilities to interact effectively with clients and internal teams
• Excellent in English speaking and writing
• Ability to work on-site in Batam and adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Educational background in Business, Shipping, or a related field is advantageous
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a team-oriented setting
• Previous experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a must
• Located in Batam Island, Indonesia
