About the role

Kantor Akuntan Publik Charles & Nurlena is seeking Accounting and Tax Consultants to join our team in Batam, Riau Islands. You will play a vital role in providing strategic accounting and tax advisory services and ensuring tax compliance to our diverse client base across various industries. This is a full‑time position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws
• Proficient in the use of tax-related software (Coretax) and technology tools, accounting software (Accurate, Xero, Journal) and Excel
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a tax advisory or consulting role, preferably in a reputable public accounting firm or a comparable organization
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to provide practical and strategic tax advice
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) preferred

• Conducting comprehensive tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations
• Preparing tax returns, tax correspondence with tax office, and other related documents for individual and corporate clients
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations to provide clients with the most current and relevant advice
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with SAK
