Accounts Officer

About the role

PT Shape Shell International Indonesia is seeking a full-time Accounts Officer based in Batam to support Australian construction and manufacturing operations through the Glassync project. This role works closely with finance and operational teams in Australia and requires strong communication skills and a high level of accuracy. You will be working to Australian project standards and timelines, supporting international teams across finance and operations.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare invoices, reconcile supplier statements and follow up outstanding payments
• Maintain accurate financial records and system entries
• Assist with expense processing, purchase order tracking and job cost support
• Support month‑end reporting requirements for Australian teams
• Coordinate documentation across finance and project stakeholders
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance record keeping
• Maintain organised digital filing aligned with international standards

• Previous experience as an Accounts Officer or Accounts Assistant
• Exceptional written and verbal English skills
• Experience supporting international companies, particularly Australia, USA or Europe, highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and cloud‑based accounting systems
• Professional, reliable and confident working with remote Australian teams

• Full‑time role under PT Shape Shell International Indonesia
• Monday to Friday with early start preferred (approximately 7:00am Batam time) to align with Australian operations
• Based in Batam, Indonesia
