Lead Software Engineer – GenAI Focus
Basingstoke (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
We’re hiring a Lead Software Engineer to drive the design and delivery of modern, cloud‑native and Generative AI‑enabled platforms
. This is a hands‑on leadership role, combining technical excellence with mentoring and strategic influence.
- 10+ years’ engineering experience with strong technical leadership background
- Expertise in cloud‑native architecture (Azure / GCP),
Dev Sec Ops , and API‑first design - Strong knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, Kubernetes, SOLID principles
- Experience building and deploying AI/ML or GenAI solutions in production
- Comfortable working with Python and LLMs (deployment, monitoring, integration)
- Lead engineering direction for scalable, AI‑enabled solutions
- Work hands‑on building secure, high‑quality software
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams
- Mentor engineers and drive best practices across the team
