Gas Engineer

We’re recruiting for 2 Gas Engineers contractually based out of our Basingstoke office. You'll cover Basingstoke and the surrounding North Hampshire area on a full‑time, permanent basis, working 39 hours per week. While we’ll try to keep you local, you may need to travel to and work from any of our other sites across Hampshire to help other teams when needed.

We’ll provide you with a van & fuel card for your travel and you’ll participate in the emergency on‑call rota. As part of the on‑call rota, you’ll be paid at competitive rates and you’ll also have access to a performance‑related bonus scheme based around productivity.

As a gas engineer, you’ll carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing of domestic boilers and appliances in line with gas safety regulations. You will identify faults and test controls to ensure they’re in full working order, complete gas safety checks in line with guidance and regulations, and complete all necessary paperwork to fulfil our obligations.

You’ll interact with الاجتماا customers and help attaining understand how to effectively use their heating and appliances. Good communication skills are therefore essential.

• CCN1, CEN, HTR, unvented and CPA technical qualifications – you must provide proof at interview stage.
• Essential electrics qualification would be beneficial.
• Full, clean, current driving licence held for at least 1 year to drive one of our vans.
• Position is subject to a satisfactory licence check and a basic disclosure check.
