Role Overview – HGV Technician
Location:
Basingstoke
Hours:
night shifts 4 on 4 off
Salary: up to £23 per hour + overtime & Company benefits

- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues across engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
- NVQ Level 3 equivalent or higher in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- At least 1 year of experience as a vehicle technician
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid UK driving license
