PE Global is currently recruiting for a Market Research Associate for an initial 12 month contract role with a leading multinational Pharma client based in Basingstoke – hybrid role.
£16.92 and £22.56 per hour PAYE
This position is ideal for candidates looking to build experience in market research and develop their analytical skills within a supportive team environment in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of key therapeutic areas, market environment, treatment dynamics, competitor strategies, and customer types (HCPs, patients, consumers, payers).
- Define problems and business issues, demonstrating rigour in establishing the business problem by questioning internal customers appropriately.
- Build and maintain close working relationships with business partners to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data collection methodologies, accurately identify trends and patterns within primary and secondary data, and effectively communicate results in a manner that enables internal stakeholders to utilise insights for informed decision-making (for example, forecast assumptions, brand performance and impact of promotional activities).
- Design, manage, analyse, and present market research using the most appropriate methodologies to deliver actionable insights and follow-through.
- Deliver market research projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with local and global standards, with full ownership at each stage.
- Synthesise insights from multiple studies to deliver well-rounded recommendations.
- Establish, coordinate, and implement affiliate market research plans in close cooperation with brand management.
- Support global and regional research to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in life sciences, sociology or psychology.
- Previous Market Research and/or data analysis experience preferred (1-2 years), but transferable experience will be considered.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Power BI is ideal, but not essential
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry is desirable but not essential.
