We’re recruiting a Testing & Development Technician to join a growing product development team working on fragrance, hygiene, and dispensing products used in commercial environments.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys testing physical products
, working with data, and being involved in a wide variety of day‑to‑day activities. If you’re curious, practical, and enjoy learning on the job, this could be a great opportunity.

💡 What you’ll be doing

You’ll support the testing, development, and improvement of both existing and new products
, including competitor products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Using Excel to calculate percentages, variances, and create graphs
  • Writing test reports with clear conclusions and recommendations
  • Supporting quality assurance and incoming product checks
  • Managing and organising product samples
  • Conducting competitor product analysis
  • Supporting cross‑functional teams when required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised testing environment

This is a varied role where flexibility and initiative are important.

🧠 What we’re looking for

You don’t need to have done this exact role before.
Attitude and aptitude are key.

You’ll be a good fit if you:

  • Integrate well into a team and communicate openly
  • Are confident with basic mathematics (percentages, variance, trends)
  • Are comfortable using Excel or keen to learn quickly
  • Take initiative and enjoy problem‑solving
  • Are patient, detail‑oriented, and hands‑on
  • Are open to feedback and happy to suggest better ways of doing things

Nice to have (but not essential):

  • Experience in testing, quality, lab, or product development environments
  • Exposure to testing physical products (any industry)
  • Experience with 3D printing or prototyping

Training will be provided for the right person.

🚀 Why apply?

  • Hands‑on role working with real products
  • Broad, interesting workload — no two days the same
  • Supportive team environment
