Midianet is a company that specializes in the design and subcontract manufacturing of high precision components for the automotive and aerospace markets. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector.

• Advanced Apprenticeship or Higher Education Qualification in Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
• Experience as a Mechanical Inspector/Quality Inspector in CNC machining and precision manufacturing environment.

• Proficient with hand‑held measuring tools, linear height gauges, bore gauges, surface finish testers, etc.
• Excellent numeracy skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Quality control experience, preferably AS9100.
• Some experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), preferably Mitutoyo.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.

• Goods inwards, in‑process, and 100% final inspection of parts using various inspection tools/methods.
• Perform routine visual and dimensional inspection and check for surface defects, cleaning, chipping, etc.
• Produce inspection reports, compile and complete Certificate of Conformity (CoC), FAIRS, and customer quality assurance documentation.
• Complete NCRs when necessary and support the 8D process.
• Ensure all processing has been carried out in accordance with route cards.
• Assist with maintaining the calibration system ensuring it is accurate and up to date at all times.
• Work with section leaders and production teams to ensure all documentation is completed correctly and accurately.
