A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Project Manager to lead a business-critical site relocation project.

We are supporting a well‑established organisation as they prepare to move from their current facility in South Wonston, Winchester (SO21) to a newly built site in Hook. With the building completion expected mid-March, we are seeking someone who can join immediately to plan, manage, and oversee the entire relocation process from end to end.

This is a hands‑on contract suitable for a confident, organised operational project specialist who can ensure a seamless transition with minimal downtime to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination and execution of the full site move.
Oversee labour teams, removal contractors and stakeholders to ensure all elements run to plan.
Manage logistics, equipment transfer, workflow continuity and contingency planning.
Monitor progress throughout the move to ensure timelines and milestones are met.
Deliver a smooth handover upon completion, ensuring operations resume with minimal disruption.
Proactively resolve issues and maintain strong communication with internal teams.

What We're Looking For
Proven experience in operational project management, ideally with involvement in site moves, relocations or similar high‑impact operational projects.
Excellent organisational, planning and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and confidently make informed recommendations (e.g., full‑time or part‑time utilisation).
A practical, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to maintain control over multiple moving parts.
