As theRegistered Managerofour Ofsted-regulated Childrens Home, you'll bededicated to delivering exceptional and compassionate support to children aged 10-17who may have experienced emotional trauma. Working withinour trauma-informedPillars of Parentingmodel, you'll help them achievepositive outcomes-whether that's reuniting them with family, or a transition to independence.
Main duties of the jobLead and Manage:
Take overall responsibility forthe day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it operates in line withits Statement of Purpose and delivers continuous improvement.
Drive Quality and Compliance:
Ensurethe home meets all statutory, regulatory and health & safety requirements, acting as the Responsible Person under relevant legislation.
Champion Child-Centred Practice:
Develop strong,supportive relationships with children, advocating for their needs and ensuringcare plans are followed.
Collaborate and Influence:
Work in partnership with families, professionals, and external agencies to supportpositive outcomes for children.
Develop and Support Staff:
Overseerecruitment, training, supervision and performance management tobuild a skilled, motivated and resilient team.
Manage Resources Effectively:Overseebudgets, staffing and equipment to ensure the home runs efficiently and sustainably.
You'll manage a service which operates all yearround
24/7andyou'llparticipatein an on-call rotawith other managers, for which additional allowances will be paid inline with HCC salary policy.
