Brand Manager – Cardiometabolic Health (Legacy Brands)
I’m supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation with a strong heritage in developing and commercialising medicines that improve patient outcomes. As part of continued investment in their cardiometabolic portfolio, they are looking to bring in an experienced Brand Manager to oversee a range of established/legacy brands across the UK and Ireland.
This is a hands‑on, operational brand role with a strong digital‑first focus, offering excellent exposure across cross‑functional teams including medical, compliance, omnichannel engagement and commercial leadership.
The RoleAs Brand Manager, you will be responsible for the tactical and operational management of legacy cardiometabolic brands, ensuring all activity is insight‑led, compliant, and aligned to wider business strategy.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to drive brand performance while maintaining the highest standards of governance within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities Brand & Tactical Execution- Develop and deliver tactical and operational brand plans with a digital‑first mindset
- Lead development, localisation, approval, launch and evaluation of brand initiatives end‑to‑end
- Coordinate brand tactics, manage timelines and track key milestones
- Ensure all activity is data‑driven and insight‑led
- Collaborate effectively with marketing colleagues, medical teams, compliance & ethics, certifiers and omnichannel engagement teams
- Lead without authority, influencing stakeholders to deliver shared objectives
- Foster a solution‑oriented, resilient and innovative working approach
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry codes and relevant regulatory standards
- Maintain strong working relationships with compliance and certification teams
- Navigate approval processes (including Veeva Promo Mats) efficiently and compliantly
- Proven pharmaceutical marketing experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience in brand strategy, planning and tactical execution
- Demonstrable ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Disease‑area experience within cardiometabolic health
- Experience working with Veeva Promo Mats
- Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and engage
- High learning agility and adaptability
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to ~20%)
