Salary:
Starting from £52 291 (IMC
10) or £56 777 (Standard Maintenance Contract)+ Full Training Provided
Our Control Centre Technicians are the guardians of the railway's digital nervous system. You'll monitor and manage the signalling equipment that keeps trains moving through the London Core—where we run over 25 trains an hour! From Cisco network switches to signalling interlocking systems, you'll be the first line of defence when faults occur, ensuring quick responses and minimal disruption.
What You'll Do- Monitor and respond to real‑time alerts from remote condition monitoring systems.
- Provide first‑line fault response and assist with deeper investigations.
- Work with engineers and managers to prioritise and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Take ownership of your shift—working solo but supported by a strong team network.

- Proven experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining safe systems of work, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Strong leaders with the ability to motivate, direct, and embed a culture of safe working practices within the team.
- Ability to collaborate and influence across all levels.
- In‑depth knowledge of signalling inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal techniques, alongside relevant standards and procedures.
