Housekeeper - St Mary’s Hospital

Are you someone who genuinely loves cleaning and treats every space as if it's your own home?

We're looking for a
Housekeeper to join our team located on St Mary's Hospital site, Newport looking after our keyworker'saccommodation.

You’ll be working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday from 9am – 12.30pm (10.5 hours per week).

Once every four weeks you’ll take part in a two-hour weekend cleaning session to service our on-call rooms.

Sovereign Network Group offers key worker homes to a range of NHS staff, other key workers and students. Customers stay with us each year, from a single night to those looking for a more permanent home.

• Cleaning rooms as they become vacant and carrying out regular service cleans
• Cleaning shared areas daily, including bathrooms and kitchens
• Using machinery such as floor cleaners
• Taking ownership and working confidently on your own, using your own initiative
• Organising your workspace and inventory, making sure you have everything you need to complete your tasks
• Being on the lookout for maintenance and repairs needed and reporting them to the Housekeeping Team Leader

Your key worker rooms and shared areas are in 4-storey buildings, and you'll be using the stairs to get between floors.

As a team we work hard and enjoy making a real difference for our customers.

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning, in particular kitchens and bathrooms
• Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to give our customers the best service possible
• A team player who's happy to step in and help when needed
• Someone who is reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently
