Legal Advisor – In-House Legal Team.

We are looking for a Legal Advisor to join one of the largest housing associations in England. Our client provides over 85,000 homes and builds thousands of new affordable homes each year, investing in communities across the South, West and East of England, including London.

This is a hybrid role based in Basingstoke with two days per week in the office. You will manage your own legal caseload while supporting Legal Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel with projects and administrative work, covering property law, conveyancing and housing-related legal matters.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage legal cases and provide day-to-day legal support
• Gather title packs and collate legal documents
• Conduct legal searches and review Local Planning Authority records
• Handle wayleave enquiries and private owners' applications
• Respond to queries and elevate complex matters as needed

We are looking for someone with experience in a legal firm or in-house environment. Experience in housing or local authority is desirable, but strong knowledge of conveyancing or property portfolios is also valued.

You will have:

• Knowledge of property transactions, conveyancing, or property portfolio management
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including legal drafting
• IT proficiency (Outlook, MS Word, MS Teams)
