The Band 7 Dietitian jointly leads the paediatric dietetic team and service based across North Hampshire Hospital and Royal Hampshire County Hospital. The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner to assess and treat complex patients, and be responsible for service development, setting and monitoring standards of practice and implementing policies.
Main duties of the jobThe candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner to assess and treat complex patients, and be responsible for service development, setting and monitoring standards of practice and implementing policies alongside a second Paediatric Dietetic team lead. This is required across all sites of HHFT.

Person Specification Training and QualificationsVALUE spell
- BSc nutrition and dietetics or equivalent
- HCPC registered
- Post registration qualification(s) composer
- Member of relevant special interest group
- Significant experience in working in paediatrics, diabetes and neonates
Evidence of continued professional development (CPD) clearly recorded for professional profile Irradiation specifics: - A broad awareness and understanding of current health issues and to demonstrate a good understanding of DOH plans and recent initiatives; that will be possible and required to deliver.
- Experience of staff supervision and mentorship including employee relations, performance, conduct and training needs analysis
- Highly self‑motivated. Possesses high work standards, helps others to set attainable goals, wants to improve, be more effective and efficient in measuring progress against targets.
- Organisational and ongoing planning skills including own workload
- Advanced communication skills including; the ability to communicateద్ధ, from speech cứu; to understand and disseminate multifaceted information.
- Flexibility. Able to adapt to ensure achievement of objectives within constantly changing situations and environments
- Should be willing to work flexible hours on occasion
