Overview of the RoleThe Senior Social Care Worker provides support and guidance to a team of social care workers, ensuring the highest level of care and leading by example. The role involves liaising with senior staff, reporting concerns, and expanding on your existing knowledge to make a positive difference in people's lives.
Key Duties- Take the lead in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a residential care environment.

- Execute tasks allocated professionally, timely and accurately.
- Supervise and share mealtimes with residents to encourage a positive attitude towards food and dining.
- Assist residents in daily activities, in or away from the home.
- Use initiative when supporting residents during activities and day‑to‑day tasks.
To be successful, you should be patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator.

It supports up to nine men with varying ages and learning disabilities, including complex needs.
