Are you passionate about supporting people who are navigating uniquely challenging life events? We are seeking to recruit a Patient Navigator to join our Infected Blood Psychological Service (IBPS). We are a team of professionals dedicated to providing expert emotional and practical support to those affected by infected blood. The service forms part of a national strategy to provide specialist holistic support to this overlooked community.

This sensitive role involves guiding clients through their psychological and social care needs with empathy, respect, and understanding. You will work closely with individuals and families to help them access appropriate services, empower their choices, and support their wellbeing.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a sensitive, person‑centred approach.
• Experience of supporting others to navigate social care, physical health and benefits systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to confidentiality, dignity, and respect for lived experiences.
• Interest in managing data.

• The post holder will provide a high-quality navigation and care support service, which includes psychosocial assessments and interventions to beneficiaries of the Infected Blood Psychological Service (IBPS).
• The post holder will lead on outreach programmes and support the overall development of the newly founded service.
• The post holder will be essential in delivering a multi‑disciplinary approach to supporting the beneficiaries of the service and the HCCC.
• The navigator element of the service will be provided across a large geographical area.
