Financial Controller

What you will do

We have a vacancy for a Financial Controller, to join a very busy and growing team. You will join the Finance team - and report into the Finance Director. This will be a broad role responsible for delivering statutory and management accounts, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring all internal and external financial reporting deadlines are met.

What you will do:

• Working within a motivated finance team to add value and drive the business forward, maximise EBIT and operational excellence
• Delivering month end and year end accounts, annual audit, statutory accounts and annual corporation tax workings,
• Reviewing Monthly balance sheet accounts and risk therein, including calculating stock/receivables impairment,
• Supporting weekly payrun and monthly payroll review and sign off,
• Cashflow and Net Working Capital management,
• Business partner for indirect cost centres including budget preparation support,
• Knowledge of FRS 102, IFRS 15, IFRS 16
• Day to day management of accounting and transactional finance team (x7)

What they are looking for:

• Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA with at least 5 years experience in a similar Senior Finance role.
• Delivering to tight deadlines including VAT preparations, budgets, forecast and cashflow reporting.
• Delivery of management and statutory accounts
• Managing external audit process
