How You Will Make an ImpactIn the Microbiology Division of the Speciality Diagnostics Group, you will be a key Finance Business Partner, delivering financial insight to support forecasting, pricing and strategic decision‑making. You will own and enhance reporting processes, support critical business cycles, and ensure commercial decisions are grounded in robust financial analysis, directly contributing to maximising revenue, margin and operational effectiveness across the MBD portfolio.
WhatYou Will Do
- Develop and deliver insight‑driven reporting that enables faster, more informed decisions across Sales.
- Support monthly & quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting (e.g., M , Q , AOP).
- Translate business inputs into financial assumptions and build/maintain revenue forecast models.
- Provide support on new business quotes & tenders and existing renewals to optimize pricing & margins aligned with MBD strategy.
- Build strong relationships with Sales, Pricing, Marketing, Supply Chain and Customer Care for financial alignment with commercial strategy.
- Analyse revenue and margin trends to support accurate month‑end results, including recommending accruals, reversals, and adjustments.
- Investigate anomalies in transactional and financial data, identify root causes, and collaborate cross‑functionally to improve data integrity.
- Strengthen commercial process controls by identifying gaps and proposing actionable improvements.
- Proactively learn and adopt new systems and tools to improve analytics capability and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a large global and matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Proficient user of Excel, SAP, Power BI, Cognos, PowerPoint and Hyperion.
