Financial Controller

We're working with a well-established international organisation to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to lead the UK and Ireland finance function.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role offers broad responsibility across financial control, reporting, compliance and team leadership, with strong visibility at senior management level.

• Lead and develop a finance team of c.15, including overseas-based staff

• Own monthly and annual close, management reporting and statutory reporting

• Deliver budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for UK & Ireland

• Prepare clear, insightful reporting for senior leadership

• Support audits and ensure robust controls and governance

• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and KPIs

• Partner with operational and commercial teams to support business performance

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 4-5+ years' PQE

• Strong IFRS and financial accounting knowledge, including inventory

• Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior controllership role

• Background in practice and/or mid-to-large organisations

• Confident operating in fast-paced environments and at senior stakeholder level

• Strong systems, process and leadership capability
