We are supporting a global technology business based in Basingstoke in their search for a newly qualified Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to join a growing, international organisation and gain broad exposure across financial reporting, controls, and business partnering.

Reporting into a Finance Manager, this role will play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting month‑end processes, and ensuring strong financial control in a fast‑paced, commercial environment.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts in line with group deadlines
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Posting and review of journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Support with statutory accounts preparation and audit processes

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Support SOX / audit requirements where applicable
• Assist with process improvements to strengthen financial control and efficiency

• Provide financial insight and analysis to support business decision‑making
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across finance and the wider business

Essential

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Strong technical accounting foundation
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience with in a technology, software, or international business
• Exposure to ERP systems
• Experience working in a group or multi‑entity environment
