Engineering Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our team within Vistry Southern, at our office in Basingstoke, Hampshire. As our Engineering Manager, you will:

In return, we expect you to:

• Have proven civil engineering experience, especially in residential housing
• Be proficient in site layout, utility design, and regulatory approvals
• Hold a full UK driving license and extensive civil engineering experience (7+ years)
• Possess strong management, technical understanding, and communication skills

Desirable qualifications include:

• Professional civil engineering qualification (Degree, HND, HNC)
• Membership of a professional body (ICE, IStruct
  
  E, CABE)
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civils3D, Revit, and surface water drainage strategies

More about the role:

• Provide technical support during land appraisal and site investigation
• Ensure project targets are met from site start to completion
• Manage external design teams and maintain good relationships with authorities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
• Develop relationships with local authorities for smooth approvals
• Coordinate technical information and drawings for construction
