3rd Line Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to support and administer a predominantly on‑premise infrastructure environment. This role will suit a strong systems engineer or senior administrator with hands‑on experience across Windows platforms, storage, and backup technologies.

You will provide advanced support, troubleshoot complex issues, and work closely with internal technical teams and stakeholders to resolve escalated incidents.

• Support and administer Windows infrastructure environments
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows OS
• Work with monitoring and management tools (e.g. SCOM, SCCM)
• Support enterprise storage and backup platforms (Dell preferred; others considered)
• Perform backup and recovery activities (e.g. Avamar or similar technologies)
• Maintain and patch live and test environments
• Support PKI and certificate management (experience desirable; willingness to learn essential)
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to maintain secure, reliable systems
• Participate in a 24/7/365 on‑call rota

• Strong experience as a Windows Infrastructure / Systems Engineer or Senior Administrator
• Windows Server administration and support
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS
• Experience in on‑prem infrastructure environments
• Must be DV clearable (DV clearance to be initiated on start)
• Dell storage solutions
• Backup technologies (e.g. Avamar)
• PKI / certificate management

• Work within a stable, enterprise on‑prem infrastructure environment
• Technically hands‑on role with exposure to storage, backups, and security
• Supportive, professional team culture
• Location: Basingstoke – 5 days per week on site
• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am–7pm coverage
• Bi‑weekly rotating shifts (7am–3pm / 11am–7pm)
• Security Clearance: Must be DV clearable (DV to be initiated on start)
