A welcoming and supportive primary school in Basingstoke is seeking a motivated and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking to begin the new academic year in a positive school environment that values collaboration, professional development, and high‑quality teaching.

This well‑respected primary school has built a strong reputation for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for both pupils and staff. The successful Year 3 Teacher will take responsibility for a class of around 20 pupils, providing the opportunity to deliver focused teaching and support pupils as they progress into Key Stage 2.

Staff work closely together to ensure pupils feel supported, confident, and motivated in their learning, while maintaining high expectations for both behaviour and academic progress.

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to support individual development
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils’ confidence, wellbeing, and independence
• Working closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support pupil outcomes

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
