Cover Supervisor - Basingstoke (ideal for Maths-confident candidates)

Prospero Teaching is looking for committed and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support a range of mainstream and SEN secondary schools across Basingstoke. While you will cover lessons across the curriculum, we are particularly interested in candidates with strong Maths skills or an academic background in Mathematics, as this subject is frequently requested by our partner schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for:

• Candidates with experience working with young people, tutoring, mentoring, or supporting learning

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure a positive learning environment for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• A degree is desirable, with Maths or STEM particularly welcomed
• Minimum one years experience working with young people
• Safeguarding training completed within the last 12 months (provided if needed)

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to supply two professional references relating to work with children

• Free, accredited CPD courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
• Continued support from our dedicated Training and Development Team
• Excellent preparation for progressing into teacher training, especially in Maths
