As a Teacher of Science
, you will join a supportive and collaborative department, delivering high-quality lessons that engage, challenge and motivate students of all abilities. This role particularly suits an experienced teacher who brings a calm, consistent classroom presence and is confident managing behaviour to create a purposeful learning environment.
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress and attainment
- Monitor, assess and report on pupil outcomes accurately
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school improvement
- Promote a safe, inclusive and positive classroom culture
- Be an experienced secondary Science teacher
- Have strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and classroom control
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
- Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and child protection
- Be reflective, professional and committed to continuous improvement
- A full-time, long-term role in a supportive secondary school
