English Teacher / ESL TEFL, High School
Overview
Whoever joins us as a Teacher of English will teach a timetable that could include a range of courses from the Departmental provision. Wherever possible, there will be flexibility over the subjects and aspects to be taught, taking into account, personal experience, skills and preferences. There will also be opportunities to teach across departments, although naturally this cannot always be guaranteed.
In addition to your duties as a teacher, we will rely on you to act as a Personal Tutor - a vital role that involves motivating, monitoring, supporting and guiding students' academic progress through the College via regular one-to-one consultations and delivery of our Personal Development programme.
Our priorities are to maintain and extend our examination success and to maintain high levels of student satisfaction and achievement. We seek to ensure that we provide students with a high-quality experience of learning that is innovative, interesting and challenging and helps them acquire the skills and knowledge essential for their progression. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher to join our outstanding team and be part of our friendly and supportive environment.
