About the Role:

Supply Desk is seeking an experienced and passionate Year 1 Teacher  for a full-time position at a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Basingstoke. This Ofsted-rated “Good” school is ambitious for all its pupils and has kind and courteous students.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and successful Year 1 team, planning alongside a year  group partner. The school is known it’s outstanding opportunities for the children its care.
This is a long-term role with the potential to extend for the right candidate.

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified and experienced Year 1 Teacher with a strong track record
Someone who sets and maintains high expectations in the classroom
Experience managing and working collaboratively with an LSAs
Excellent knowledge of phonics (ELS Phonics preferred)
Proven ability to differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
A passionate educator committed to delivering engaging and effective early years teaching

Requirements:

A UK-recognised teaching qualification
A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Full compliance with Department for Education guidelines
A genuine passion for early years education and child development
