Specialist Trainer – Make a Real Difference Every Day
Salary: £29,601 – £36,679 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 162.5 per month | Typically 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday
Are you passionate about empowering others and shaping positive futures? At The Loddon School and Loddon Training, we’re looking for a dynamic Specialist Trainer to join our multi-skilled team and help transform the way care and education professionals support individuals with complex needs.
This is more than a training role—it’s an opportunity to influence best practice across education, health and social care, champion positive behaviour support, and make a lasting impact on the lives of people with autism, severe learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.
What You’ll Do- Deliver engaging PROACT-SCIPr-UK® courses and associated training that meet the highest standards, including Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) guidelines.
- Work creatively to design and deliver training that inspires confidence and competence in others.
- Support instructors and organisations with expert advice, guidance, and additional training.
- Work directly within our training venue at Basingstoke, with occasional travel (and overnight stays) across the UK to share knowledge and best practice.
- Maintain your own professional development and certifications, ensuring you stay at the forefront of legislation and innovation.
- A professional or vocational qualification in Health & Social Care (e.g., Social Work Diploma, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or relevant degree).
- Ideally, a teaching qualification (e.g., AET Level
3). - Hands‑on experience in positive behaviour support, behaviour analysis, and effective communication strategies.
- Strong organisational skills, creativity in training delivery, and excellent communication abilities.
