Are you passionate about empowering others and shaping positive futures? At The Loddon School and Loddon Training, we’re looking for a dynamic Specialist Trainer to join our multi-skilled team and help transform the way care and education professionals support individuals with complex needs.

This is more than a training role—it’s an opportunity to influence best practice across education, health and social care, champion positive behaviour support, and make a lasting impact on the lives of people with autism, severe learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver engaging PROACT-SCIPr-UK® courses and associated training that meet the highest standards, including Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) guidelines.
  • Work creatively to design and deliver training that inspires confidence and competence in others.
  • Support instructors and organisations with expert advice, guidance, and additional training.
  • Work directly within our training venue at Basingstoke, with occasional travel (and overnight stays) across the UK to share knowledge and best practice.
  • Maintain your own professional development and certifications, ensuring you stay at the forefront of legislation and innovation.
What We’re Looking For
  • A professional or vocational qualification in Health & Social Care (e.g., Social Work Diploma, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or relevant degree).
  • Ideally, a teaching qualification (e.g., AET Level
    3).
  • Hands‑on experience in positive behaviour support, behaviour analysis, and effective communication strategies.
  • Strong organisational skills, creativity in training delivery, and excellent communication abilities.
Why Join Us?
  • Impact: Your work will directly improve the quality of life for individuals and empower professionals to deliver compassionate, effective care.
  • Growth: We invest in your development—ongoing CPD, professional registration, and certification with BILD ACT.
  • Balance: Enjoy generous annual leave and a supportive, collaborative team environment.
  • Purpose: Be part of an organisation committed to reducing restrictive practices and promoting dignity and respect.
