An experienced Freelance Senior Site Manager is required to oversee high-quality residential construction projects. Projects include bespoke new builds, multi-unit residential developments, apartment schemes, and listed building renovations.

This role is suited to a hands‑on Senior Site Manager capable of taking full ownership of a site and delivering projects through to successful completion while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Manage residential construction projects from pre‑construction through to handover.
• Oversee daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain Health & Safety documentation.
• Manage Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Liaise regularly with senior management and project stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Proven experience in residential construction.
• Minimum 4 years' experience managing building projects.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Experience delivering new build housing or residential refurbishment projects.
• Commercial awareness and strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• SMSTS (essential).
• First Aid at Work (essential).
