We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a renowned tier 1 main contractor based on a landmark scheme near Basingstoke. The business operates across several sectors including defence, commercial, education and student accommodation which value from £30mil - £500mil with a national presence. As a result of on-going work on a £500mil project near Basingstoke, they're looking to expand the commercial team with an additional Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within an established commercial team, procuring and managing your own sub-contract accounts and reporting into the Commercial Manager. There is plenty of scope for progression in the role, and the business is one which prides itself on promoting senior levels from within.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

• Have a HNC / construction related degree
• Have administered JCT / NEC forms of contract
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to Basingstoke

In return you will receive:

• Base salary:
  Up to £60k (dependent on experience)
