Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with brickwork packages and a strong understanding of subcontractor management. While prior sole masonry experience is not essential, familiarity with brickwork projects is highly desirable. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement and requires someone accessible to our Basingstoke office.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage brickwork packages, including cost estimates and budgets.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate pricing.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and payments.
- Assist in tendering processes for new projects.
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to maintain financial control.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, contracts, and relevant regulations.
- Quantity Surveying experience within construction, ideally including brickwork or heritage projects.
- Strong knowledge of subcontractor and cost management.
- Proficiency in measurement, estimating, and cost reporting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
