Location:
Basingstoke (3 days a week in the office and 2 remote
Duration: 12 months
Pay rate: £15.26 and £20.35 per hour PAYE
Local Meetings and Congresses, delivers consultancy and strategic project management in the implementation of meeting programs for all locally funded meetings & events. Together with Meeting planning companies acts as central point of customer service and internal and external communication for all meetings related aspects. We deliver an end-to-end service including any specific compliance or legal requirement, focusing on integrity, consistency, and high-quality customer experience standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage meeting program, meeting the needs of our meeting owners and Thought Leader relationship owners. Act as consultant by providing project management expertise and direction to ensure successful delivery of meetings.
- Establish and maintain key strategic partnerships with Marketing, Medical, Sales, compliance, finance, procurement, and other functions that can facilitate cross functional work.
- Effectively lead, collaborate, and manage multiple relationships with external partners to positively impact customer experience.
- Oversight of meeting operations across different teams with a project management approach focused on end customer experience.
- Support the meeting program through different systems and tools focused on meeting planning & contracting process. Initiate and facilitate optimization opportunities connected with processes, systems, and people.
- Comply with Global Standards on meetings and events interactions with external parties and all other relevant policies and procedures. Be responsive for audit readiness and compliance requests.
- Lead innovative improvement projects across functions, within the hub to streamline the meetings process.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant working experience could apply.
- Knowledge and expertise using systems, applications or devices as MS Office 365, SAP, (Cvent and Salesforce would also be preferable)
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and/ or meetings and events background
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Requires business and/or technical knowledge developed through education or experience using discipline and understanding of key business drivers. Overtime should be able to improve processes, products, and services.
- Be able to create impact at different levels: immediate peers and across teams.
- Requires analysis of possible solutions to solve and anticipate a range of day-to-day problems including standard and non-standard requests. Be able to provide support on solving issues, within a team or multiple teams over time.
- Be able to deliver program education to meeting owners on policies, systems, planning and other meeting related aspects.
