We have an opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our Investment and Development team.
The RoleAs an Executive Assistant, you'll provide high‑quality personal, secretarial, and administrative support to the Executive Director. This is a trusted role at the heart of the organisation, requiring excellent judgement, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a confidential and professional manner.
Your responsibilities will includeExecutive Support
- Provide confidential, high-quality personal assistance and administrative support to the Executive Director.
- Manage a complex diary, coordinating meetings, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
- Monitor and review departmental expenditure against agreed budgets and support forecasting activity.
Governance & Meetings
- Provide full secretariat support to the Departmental Leadership Team, including preparation of agendas, reports, and accurate minutes.
- Prepare agendas and papers and take minutes for Management Boards and Committee meetings as required.
- Produce and maintain an annual timetable of all Board, Committee, Team and other internal meetings.
- Proven experience working as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Senior Administrator supporting a director or Executive‑level leader.
- Experience of providing high‑quality, confidential administrative and secretariat support, including preparing agendas, papers, and taking accurate minutes at senior‑level meetings.
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel and accommodation.
- Experience of working with senior leadership teams or boards, supporting effective governance and decision‑making.
- Experience of managing and maintaining highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience of organising and coordinating events, such as away days, leadership meetings, or corporate events.
- Experience of maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems with strong attention to detail.
