Pro Talent are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in the Surrey area who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing Business Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practice professional to join a supportive and forward-thinking firm offering genuine progression and exposure to a varied client portfolio.

As Accounts Senior, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and business advisory services. You will work closely with Managers and Partners while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

• Preparation of management accounts and financial reports

• Corporation tax computations and returns

• Supporting with personal tax where required

• Reviewing work prepared by junior staff

• Liaising directly with clients, responding to queries and providing practical advice

• Assisting with client onboarding and process improvements

The successful candidate will:

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (QBE also considered)

• Have recent experience working within UK accountancy practice

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of FRS
  102 and UK GAAP

• Be confident managing their own workload and client relationships

• Have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach

• Experience with cloud software such as Xero, Quick Books or similar would be advantageous
