Maintenance Electrician

Basildon, Permanent Full-Time, 8–5 Mon–Fri.

Salary: £38,000 + van and fuel card.

Site based at a large mobile site in and around Basildon. Duties include electrical repairs, testing and installation works across the dedicated area, complying with BS7671 and Health & Safety policies. Works on a 1 week on/1 week off call‑out schedule covering Cambridge, Huntingdon, Peterborough, St Neots and Luton.

• Deliver high quality service by undertaking electrical repairs, testing and installation works.
• Produce concise and accurate data records through PDA/mobile communication systems and reporting.
• Attend team briefs, toolbox talks and technical bulletins monthly.
• Demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude to customers and colleagues.

• 18th edition in Electrical Installations.
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services – Electrical Installation (Building and Structures).
• Electrical Installations and City & Guilds 2391.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
